About the IPICM Association of Churches

For now, this association is only for newly started churches built by IPICM and its partners. Our hope is that the model we build will be a model we can be proud to share with others beginning in 2024.

IPICM is an organization that has been dedicated to fulfilling the Great Commission of spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ to those who have not heard it. Now, the organization is building on an association of churches for even greater advances in the kingdom of God. The potential benefits of this move are numerous and could significantly impact the work of IPICM and its partnering churches.

Among the advantages of forming an association of churches is the opportunity for interaction among churches and ministries of like mind. This will allow for a greater sharing of resources, ideas, and experiences. Regularly scheduled live training seminars on Zoom can be organized, providing an opportunity for members to learn and grow together. This can be especially valuable for smaller churches or ministries that may not have the resources to provide regular training for their members.

Another benefit of forming an association of churches is the potential for ministry to local churches in various ways. This includes providing materials and resources for pastors and their congregations, as well as outreach to the local community. The association can also partner local ministries to bring the gospel to those who have never heard it, through evangelistic and healing open air meetings in previously unreached communities.

At IPICM, the usual order of evangelistic ministry includes evangelistic and healing open air meetings in previously unreached communities, followed by discipleship training of new believers who received the gospel and the building of a local church within a reasonable time following each evangelistic campaign. Finally, in many places, weekly teaching broadcasts on a local radio station are also provided to further encourage the community of growing believers. By working together in an association of churches, IPICM is able to partner with other like-minded churches and ministries to carry out this mission more effectively.

Ultimately, the goal of IPICM is to find partners who share in the labor of fulfilling the Great Commission. In a world where many churches and ministries have lost the vision of sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ, IPICM is looking to join forces with those who share their passion. The association of churches would be a force for taking the gospel message forward to the many lost souls who have never heard of Jesus, or the hope of their own potential salvation from sin and death.

Qualifications for Becoming an Associate Member

To become a member of the IPICM Association of Churches is simple but we look for qualities that are not often found in many churches. Here is a list of the principal characteristics we look for.

  • Your church must be evangelistic, actively involved in evangelism, and actively advancing the kingdom of God.
  • Your church doctrine must be biblically sound and conform to acceptable Christian beliefs, including those presented in the Doctrine page of this website.
  • Your church must be in order and functioning in the New Testament pattern.
  • Your church must demonstrate that it is willing and able to provide service, when necessary, to carry out tasks requested by IPICM leadership. This includes anything necessary to carry out evangelism, discipleship, leadership training, and starting new churches.
  • Your church must be self-supported and not dependent on IPICM for financial support. IPICM will provide finances for open air evangelism events and certain other events, but not for constructing churches or most other projects that do not fall under IPICM policies.
  • Because finances are limited, most of IPICM’s contributions are evangelistic and educational.
  • Your church must have access to good Internet and the ability to communicate with IPICM’s headquarters.

This list will change with time, but for now, it reflects our general requirements for association. It exists only to help all association members to be of one accord. Your church will remain independent and will not be governed by IPICM. Our desire is to have common fellowship and goals, so that we might advance God’s kingdom together. There are no membership fees or costs.

If your goal is to advance the kingdom of God through evangelism and planting new churches, click on the email link below to tell us about your church and an IPICM team member will respond as soon as we can. Please be patient with us as you wait for our response. Please remember the association is not yet available for existing churches.

Cause for Disassociation

Unfortunately, not everything always works out as one might hope for. Partnerships are built on trust and if that trust is broken, there is no longer a reason for association, or a partnership for that matter. If a partner fails to live up to his/her promises and expectations, and especially if that partner is judged as having ulterior motives (such as deceptively seeking money for purposes other than what was presented to, and approved by, IPICM leadership), there no longer exists a basis for trust and is therefore no longer a basis for an association partnership.
